Live readout

An heirloom instrument, pointed at your skin

The Radar holds a hand-verified register of laser clinics, every practitioner, platform and public rating read off the clinic’s own pages and listings, then scored. Press scan and it sweeps your city, drops a mark for each clinic it holds, and triages them best first.

Methodology

One hundred points, three pillars, eight sub-signals. Every point is read off a public source: the clinic’s own pages, the practitioner’s register entry, and the review platforms, then written down.

Reputation

Ratings now blend Google, RealSelf, Trustpilot and other verified platforms into one figure, weighted by how many people spoke: a 4.9 across 400 reviews carries far more than a 5.0 across nine. Clinics with no public rating are scored on the rest of the register rather than penalised for silence.

Technology

Breadth of the laser bench, credit for flagship platforms (Fraxel, BBL and HALO, Moxi, UltraPulse and other fractional CO2, picosecond devices, Sofwave), and how many of the eight families in our taxonomy the fleet actually covers. A deep bench means the practitioner can choose the right wavelength rather than the only one they own.

Experience

Years in practice or years the clinic has operated, whether the lead clinician’s registration and specialism are verifiable, and how deep the bench of practitioners behind them runs. Then the concern overlay: choose an agenda and the Radar re-weights every clinic by its verified strength in that lane.

Credentials, checked

Verified leadership is not a self-description. Where a clinic’s lead clinicians are named, we check them against the public registers: the GMC and CQC in the United Kingdom, board certification in the United States, and AHPRA with FACD fellowship in Australia. The register and reference number sit in small print on the result card, so you can check our checking.

The small print

The clinics that clear the Radiance Score bands are awarded sunbursts in the Radiance Guide, our star system for skin: one sunburst at 74, two at 82, three at 90. Stars appear beside the clinic name in every result above, and unstarred clinics stay on the dial regardless.

Compiled from public sources in July 2026, clinic websites, practitioner pages and public listings. The Radiance Score is editorial, not medical advice, and it cannot know your skin. Always consult a qualified practitioner, and read the laser file before you book.
